Movie night, getting scammed and other things my weekend has become.

I will start off with getting scammed! So I ordered Alva diapers through a co-op. I was reffered to this co-op from a dear friend who was best friends with the owner. We saw legitament tranactions go successfully so I was ready to make a order for 10 diapers that cost me almost $50. I placed the order and paid in Oct. After hearing that the total order for everyone was 500+ diapers, we all expected delays. We were hearing prints were out of stock so we had to wait for them to come back in, then we heard customs held the packages up. One thing after another Finally in Jan. we heard that they had arrived and was ready to be shipped to us. So people paid shipping costs and waited. and waited. Well people were getting antsy and curious so they did some digging. Come to find out Alva had never heard of the co-op owner and have no record of her ever placing a order! UTOHH BUSTED. well the owner went over the edge, was arrested by MPs and ecsorted off her base and was sent to a medical facility to seek help. So her husband finds all this out, and is now trying to do refunds. This is such a long story I dont even want to tell it all. But long story short. WE WERE ALL SCAMMED!! UGH

Anyways, Tonight I went over a friends for movie night and we watched 50/50. LOVE IT! Had pizza and dip and just hung out it was nice. Although I wish brandon and Nathen were there but Nathen has a cold and brandon had to watch him. Another thing happened today....I got an email from where I filed taxes and they said IRS accepted it BUT now they are experiencing some delays! WTF I want my money....


Well its 1 am and I want bed. GOODNIGHT!

Mollie Gross Tonight.

I took Nathen to the doctors this morning and confirmed that he has a cold :/ He's still pretty happy just has a cough and a little temp. So tonight I'm going out with some friends to the Mollie Gross show on base. I've been wanted to see her for awhile and I was glad to get tickets for free. I am in need of a good laugh and a night away from home. Hopefully Brandon gets home in time. Tonight I gotta rush the bedtime schedule get ready and head over to the show. If he isnt home by the time I need to leave a friend is just going to come over and watch over Nathen for a bit. Baby boy is down for a nap, So I'm going to do the same while I can.

SPRING CLEANING IN THE WINTER!

I haven't been posting because frankly I don't have much to say. Last night I took a look around the house, I was grossed out about how lazy I have been these past few weeks and decided it's time for a change! Spring clean this bitch. We are moving out in 3 months and it's time to get a move on and clear out junk and keep what's needed. So I started this morning with my bedroom. Opened the windows in the house, cleaned out my closet and dresser. DE-CLUTTERED! So I made sure I finished cleaning most of the upstairs before Nathen took his morning nap, and when the time came for that I started the jungle downstairs. Made Nathen a better play area so the stupid cat can stay away from his stuff, and quit tearing up one of his puzzle mats. I like the new set up. I'm taking a break right now while Nathen is playing. My feet are killing me and I haven't ate anything yet. After Nathen takes another nap I think I will find something to eat and tackle the closets downstairs while laundry is going. When Brandon gets home he's going to think he walked in the wrong house. He always does when I rearrange things.

Sorry I've been MIA today. It's one of those days we all dread. I'd like to tell you I was busy but I wasnt. Busy laughing a bitches on facebook? YES I was very busy. You know just because your a military wive doesn't give you the know it all reward. When you act entitled and bitchy expect to be called out. SIMPLE AS THAT. Being a cyber bully is funny to me, especially around here because you know for damn well that girls here can't back their shit up. MOVING ON!

So today was unproductive. Played with Nathen, napped, watched Youtube junk, and laughed at bitches on facebook. Lets just call it what it is, LAZY DAY! I deserve one for crying out loud. Brandon is on a 2 watch right now. Which means he gets no days off. He actually rushed home today just in time as I was lying Nathen down in his crib for bedtime. He got to go up and sneak in some kisses before bed. So as I write this I'm doing diaper laundry and contemplating what to do with the rest of my night..HMMMM I think I'm going to sign up for a pintrest. I wonder if its hard or not. We shall see

Another lonely night.

Husband is still at work. blaaah. But I had a great time at our get- together today. Alot of new faces which is always nice, and Nathen got to play with all the babies born in the same few weeks as him. He is so funny to watch with other people. He's such a flirt! He didn't nap until we got back home around 3, so I let him sleep until almost 6. He was so happy playing I don't think he wanted to go to bed tonight, which explains why he went to bed at 8:15. Maybe he will sleep in tomorrow. As for me I'm lounging around while baby clothes are washing. I tried to eat dinner but there was nothing I wanted, so I settled for PB&FLUFF sandwiches. I ate 1 and a half before I got sick. I don't know why but peanut butter makes me feel icky if I have to much. Tonight looks like a YouTube/Netflix kind of night in my PJs and curled up in bed. I just gotta get there first :)

Busy morning.

Good Morning! Today I have a Cloth diaper get-together with alot of mama's in the area that CD. I love getting together with these ladies and sharing stories, asking/answering questions, and just hanging out with all the kids. I made some yummy Oreo balls last night, and Im going to prep them on the dishes and get the cheese plate started. First I gotta take Brandon into work because Gunny wants to talk to his watch and then he's going to go cook for the general all day. So I'm glad I have a event to go to this afternoon to busy myself up with. I will be back later tonight to tell you all about how it went :)

This made my week! After all the headache I went through this week, getting fluff always brightens me up. So in other news, I cleaned the house today. Nathen didnt want to take a nap this morning because daddy was home. So he took his afternoon nap but it wasn't very long. He getting ready for bed with daddy tonight which is a nice break for me. I just finished packing up giveaway items for our Cloth diaper get-together tomorrow. So I'm going to get off here and start making oreo balls, wash diapers, and watch season 1 of One Tree Hill with Brandon. Tomorrow is a busy day..Hopefully I will make some time to blog!

What to say?

I know  I promised to write 2 blogs a day, but on nights like these I don't know what to say. What should I talk about? Any ideas let me know! Tonight a friend came over whom I haven't seen in awhile. Then the solicitor lady came by AGAIN wanted me to buy her cleaner. She never take no, and I don't have money for an answer. Need to start putting my car back in the garage for sure! I MADE DINNER! Yup thats right, ME! I never make dinner, but my husband had been working all day, and I wanted him to give Nathen a bath tonight like he used too. So I offered to make dinner. Chicken Teriyaki, and it was yummy. Other than that same old, same old.

Time to go to bed, Sleepy medicine is kicking in :)

quick entry

I figured I would sneak in a entry before Nathen wake up from our super long nap. Today wasn't very eventful. Had to go back to the pharmacy and actually get his medicine. I don't know why I never learn to not go during lunch time. Nathen cant sit still, and he freaks out after awhile. But all the old people love him! He flirts back with the ladies. So I'm going to go wake up Nathen and wait for hubs to get home.. Tomorrow is his only day off so I think i'll be nice and let him sleep in ;)

late night post.

well its almost 1am and my husband finally came home about 2 hours ago, after being gone since 6 this morning. He gave me some good news though, Paper work for a chance to PCS to washington D.C. to work for as the generals aid. This is his only chance to reenlist!! Brandons EAS is in May and its fastly approaching and he has not made any set plans for getting out of the Marine Corps. With his MOS closed up, this is the only way he can stay in. So I'm crossing my fingers super tight for this. I'm finishing up some laundry, watching Desperate Housewives of Atlanta and going to bed. This chick is TIRED!!

When will this week be over?

I missed blogging this morning because Nathen woke up at 10. That's right 10 am. He slept from 7pm-10am. I think it was because he missed his long lap yesterday and was so tired. But yeah I typically blog around 10 since its naptime here but not today. We got ready and headed to the pharmacy (like ive been attempting for 3 days) So we got there and the line wasn't so bad like usual. So when It was my turn to come up, there was an issue with Nathen script. Like always its a hassle to get his medicines. So I had to wait longer(never actually went back to pick it up) While Nathen was in my arms an old lady came up to Nathen and asked "whats his name?" I said Nathen. She then replies with "OH Megan, what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. That necklace you have is just gorgeous!" Funny because Nathen was wearing a blue plaid shirt. Did she not get the hint that he was wearing blue because maybe he was a boy?! But whatever. 

So I came home, We took a nap and woke up around 3. skyped with my parents while Nathen ate and played. Then I went ahead and did taxes with my mom on the phone. 

Exciting right?! Don't have much else to say besides we are waiting for Brandon to come home from the generals house. Who knows when that will be. But it looks like I will be putting Nathen to bed tonight. After that is finished I'm going to clean up the house a little and wash diapers and bottles. Then ME time :)

A relaxing end to a stressful day.

So after I woke Nathen up from his morning nap, I got motivated and ran some of those errands. Well I got lost looking for someones house and turns out she lived in like the middle of nowhere but whatever. anyhow, before I got lost I went to target with Nathen to pick out a 7 month toy. Now he still isnt sitting up on his own 100%, he not crawling or anything either, but he will take steps ODD! I swear this child thinks hes going to skip everything and go straight to walking, which I would think is harder, nope not for him. So I picked out a fisher price 2 n 1 walker. It starts off as a toy he can sit with and bang on, then when hes older its used as a walker, like a shopping cart push thingy idk. SOO after all that was done and got lost and found my way, I get a call from brandon..."Where are you? We need to go get 2 white polos because I'm cooking for the general tomorrow and sunday!" REALLY I just left target and was heading home. *mind you target is like 20 mins away from home*

ONE HIS 1 DAY OFF HE HAS TO DO THIS!! come-on. But anyways I was already frustrated, and I snapped at him saying I still need to get to the pharmacy, and we need to go get our taxes done today. So I told him before I head back to town to call Wal-mart, and the Exchange to see if they carried any, just incase if they didnt I wouldnt have to waste gas to come back to target or the mall. And of course just our luck, they didnt have any. So I turn around and run into target, carrying Nathen and feeding him while grabbing these shirts. I go to pay and a worker steps away from her register to talk to her friend. I was in a hurry, so I ran to the next register. Well I reached for my credit card in my rain jacket and it wasnt there.. I was freaking out because neither was my phone and I knew I put it there. So I rush out to the car baby in hand and its not there. I run to the customer service desk and ask if someone had picked them up..NOPE. I retraced my steps and asked a employee in mens if she saw it because i knew she was watching me. NOPE. So i retraced my steps again back to where I was and was about to walk out the door and go to the car and cry but as I was walking out I saw them on the register I was at where the rude employee stepped away!! I almost had a heart attack. My BP was so high I could tell because I was sweaty and shaky. Its funny what you dont notice when you have mommy brain.

So after I got home I got a package from A Gu Baby. I had won a memory foam changing pad from naturallythriftymom on YouTube. That made my day. Man I tell you I wish I could lay on that thing, its sooo soft. Nathen played with his new toy and loved it. So now everyones asleep and I'm just hanging out, listening to pandora and blogging. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

Nathen's new toy. Happy 7th months son.

Good morning.

So last night I planned on doing another blog, but I got lost in YouTube videos haha. But I plan on blogging twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Last night after watching a awesome new show *Alcatraz* my husband and I got into a water fight! YES, a bit juvenile, but hey were still young. It all started with Brandon  taking the spray bottle to the cat who had been a MAJOR pain all day. I took it from him and sprayed him a little. So while I wasnt looking he grabbed the bucket and filled it with water, and chased me around the house. I ended up outside trying to escape him. He kept missing. So I stayed outside, to see if he was done but it was dark so I couldnt see much. SPLASH!! he had snuck around the house and dumped water on me from behind. That was it, I was so mad because it was sooo cold outside. He locked me out of the back, and I was banging on the door to let me in. As soon as he let me him he called truths and I sprayed him so much his face was soaked! Its all fun until I get mad I guess.

This morning I woke up before Nathen, which never happens btw. So I got things ready to get motivated for the day. Which is going to be hard since it's rainy and gloomy today. Nathen woke up shortly after, and I changed him, fed him, and took a minute for myself and took a nice long shower(which is rare to get a long shower lately). Came downstairs, had myself some breakfast while nathen played. Then I called my mom and told her to Skype with us this morning since Nathen is 7 months old today!! We skyped and now its naptime for little man.

Plans for the day: Run some errands, wait for the husband to get home, and relax!

So this is my first blog..

After being up all night playing with settings, and writing my son's courageous story( on the right) I think its time to start blogging. This morning Nathen woke me up around 8, so I got up and changed and fed him. He usually stays in pjs until after his late morning snack. Yesterday I spent the whole day stripping diapers (YES, we cloth diaper). So today I'm going to relax, since the only thing I really need to do is go to the pharmacy and pickup his medicine. Right now I'm cleaning my dermal piercing (pictured below). I got it on the 13th, and it's healing great! When I get my quarter sleeve finished and colored in I will add another dermal to the other rose I have. I was so scared to get it, but I had wanted one since I was 16. This year is all about facing my fears, so while I was at Holy Rollers Tattoo and body shop getting my $13 friday the 13th tattoo, I went for it. I had a friend come with me and while I was on the table I couldn't see it be done, but it felt like I got punched in the arm. My friend said it looked way worse. But anyways I'm going to go have breakfast and spend the day with my son. Hopefully my husband gets off earlier today but I doubt it.
